ATLANTA – (Dec. 18, 2025) – Pond & Company (“Pond”), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management services, is proud to announce that its Life Science Team has been selected to support Black & Veatch (BV) as part of BV’s recent award under the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Cooperative Threat Reduction Integrating Contract IV (CTRIC IV). This five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract is designed to provide a wide range of services and solutions that strengthen global efforts to reduce chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats in partnership with allied nations.

Under this contract, Pond will support Black & Veatch in providing specialized capabilities, including laboratory design, facility commissioning, biosecurity program development, and biosafety training.

Pond’s Life Science Team—comprised of industry-leading architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, and biosafety experts—will collaborate with Black & Veatch’s internationally recognized professionals to enhance and expand BV’s global capabilities in support of DTRA’s mission.
