Pond Hires Rowdy Griffin as Client Account Manager Supporting Fuels

ATLANTA – (Apr. 6, 2026) – Pond & Company (“Pond”), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management services, today announced that Rowdy Griffin has joined the firm as a Client Account Manager supporting fuels.

In this role, Griffin will leverage more than four decades of fuels program management, Department of Defense (DoD) experience, and strategic business development expertise to strengthen client relationships, expand market presence, and support mission-critical fuel infrastructure programs.

Griffin brings a proven track record of driving growth and fostering high-value partnerships with key agencies including DLA Energy, NAVFAC, AFCEC, and USACE. 

“Rowdy’s deep understanding of DoD fuels operations and his longstanding relationships across the defense community make him a tremendous asset to our team,” said Michael Jeffreys, Senior Vice President at Pond. “His leadership and insight will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional value to DLA and other federal clients.”

Prior to his private-sector work, Griffin held several senior leadership roles within the federal government and U.S. Navy, including Technical Director of the Naval Petroleum Office (NAVPET), where he oversaw fuels programs supporting the Navy and Marine Corps worldwide. His career also includes directing large-scale fuel operations, managing global infrastructure programs, and leading high-level audits and policy initiatives impacting national defense readiness. 

Griffin holds a Master of Science in Management (Project Management) and a Master of Business Administration in Petroleum Engineering Management. His extensive technical training and leadership experience further reinforce his ability to support complex energy and infrastructure initiatives.
