ATLANTA – (March 28, 2022) – Pond is honored to announce that Federal Program Manager Pam Little has been selected to serve as Regional Vice President (RVP) of the Southeast region of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). SAME builds leaders and collaboration among government and industry to develop multidisciplined solutions to national security infrastructure challenges.

“Without a doubt, Pam will thrive and make a positive impact in her new role with SAME,” said Bob Ruch, Col. Ret., Pond’s Executive Vice President of Defense and Federal. “This two-year position provides the opportunity to build partnerships and stronger connections, which will further affirm Pond’s voice in the military engineering community.”

In this role, Pam will serve as a liaison between the national organization and posts in Florida and Georgia, facilitating a close working relationship.

“It’s exciting because it allows me to represent Pond and network with both private and public organizations,” said Pam. “I will be actively supporting SAME’s objective to foster industry government engagement and to help our defense clients deliver their missions.”

A member of the SAME Leadership Development program’s current class, Pam’s history with SAME goes back several decades. In 2014, Pam was awarded the SAME Tudor Medal for engineering leadership.

While advancing her career in the federal space, Pam has been a leader for women across multiple industries. She is an active board member for Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), which works to advance careers of women. She is also the co-chair for Pond’s internal women’s resource group focused on building an inclusive and engaging workplace.

Pam will be officially inducted at SAME’s Joint Engineer Training Conference and Expo (JETC) in May, where she will also be presenting the findings of her Leadership Development project on measuring the efficacy of a leadership program.
