Comprehensive Facility Assessment - Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, GA

For AATC, Pond provided facility assessment services for six concourses and baggage facilities totaling 4,596,276 square feet at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA. Utilizing BUILDER software, Pond’s architects and engineers conducted detailed assessments of the identified facilities and their associated systems, including the buildings’ envelope and all building systems and reviewed all available utility information. In addition, the assessment services consisted of investigating and current facility condition deficiencies, developing a prioritized list of recommended repairs or replacements, providing cost estimates for recommendations, and provide a future forecast for budgeting purposes for a period of five years. The final report detailed each asset and listed the system condition index, replacement cost index, total cost of ownership evaluation, and a 5-year and 20-year forecast of the maintenance requirements and costs that can be adjusted for inflation. Additionally, Pond delivered the information in a web-based application which was used throughout the project to convey the project progress as well as the BUILDER indices and results in a map based overview.
