Trails & Greenways
Pond’s environmentally sensitive approach integrates people, technology, and ecologic systems to create greenways and trail projects that are healthy for the users and aesthetically pleasing.
Pond has master planned, designed, and implemented over four hundred miles of greenway and multi-use trail projects. This experience ranges from County-wide Greenway master plan updates, to City-wide greenway connectivity plans, to the planning and layout of natural foot trails for state parks.
Our landscape architects and planners are adept at working with communities to educate and engage support for greenway and trail projects. We are firm believers in obtaining community support in order to develop amenities that are successful and fully used. Trail connectivity is often used as a method of tying neighborhoods together and providing off-street access to parks, greenways and schools, or to a more regional system.
