Pond provided on-call planning services to the City of Chamblee including:
- Reviewing all private development within the City to determine if the project meets the City’s development regulations and state/federal codes.
- Implementing Chamblee’s new zoning ordinance.
- Establishing the zoning review process.
- Conducting zoning reviews, zoning ordinance rewrites and plan reviews for streetscape design.
Pond drafted the entire revised form-based hybrid ordinance for the City. This included appropriate level of development review; consistency with City, County and State policies; public involvement and council education.
