Pond, an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management services, has hired Thomas Wilson as Vice President of the firm’s aviation group. In his role, Wilson will lead strategic oversight of the firm’s aviation program, including participating in business development activities, client management, and program/project management.

Wilson has more than 20 years of experience in aviation, construction, and program management. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Senior Director at Amtrak leading the construction, risk, and safety team of its national capital delivery program. In his most recent aviation position, Wilson served for eight years as a Director of Quality Assurance, Risk & Safety at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATLNext).

Wilson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Marketing Management from Florida State University. He is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
