Hampton Inn, one of Hilton’s most stable brands, underwent a custom renovation at its Phenix City, Alabama location. Pond approached this project by adapting the existing layout to match the brand guidelines set forth by Hilton for Hampton Inn properties. In the lobby, which features a two-story tall ceiling, this included adding pod-style check-in areas and intimate seating, providing for seamless and convenient travel for guests on the go. Existing tall ceilings in the breakfast area incorporated custom cloud features and ceiling fixtures.
Other elements include increased natural light throughout the building and open-style seating in the breakfast area. To cohesively tie the building into its newly created identity of timelessness and durability, Pond’s design team thoughtfully curated artwork for the property with pieces reminiscent of the local identity of Phenix City. The custom design for the spaces and light wood tones and finishes complement existing architecture and provide a high-end look for this one-of-a-kind Hampton Inn location.
