Energy Assessment

An effective energy assessment is based on quantitative data of real property assets, evolving stakeholder needs and energy costs/consumption.

Pond creates realistic strategies to reduce energy usage and to prolong the lifecycle costs of expensive equipment through energy assessments. We recognize that to address building energy issues, an in-depth understanding of the building is essential. We have provided facility assessments and energy audits for more than 100 million square feet of facility space in over 7,000 buildings. The focal point of our energy assessment is concentrated on assisting the Owner in determining the condition of their buildings, necessary repair and replacement and the cost and schedule of that work. Pond’s experience includes providing energy and water auditing, commissioning services and alternative energy design, as well as experience at every stage of a project’s life assessment, giving a 360-degree view of a building’s lifecycle.

Our approach is a proven process and based upon the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E 2018 which is the Standard Guide for Properties Condition Assessments.
