ATLANTA, GA Pond & Company was awarded a one-year indefinite delivery Cathodic Protection and Corrosion Control Design Contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District.

Pond was highly ranked among the six submitting firms and successfully interviewed for the project. Pond’s responses to the solicitation requirements stood out for both quality and high level of expertise displayed.

The contract includes an option for four additional years with a maximum of $49 million over a five-year period. The scope is comprised of corrosion engineering and cathodic protection system evaluation, survey, design services and minor repairs for DoD facilities around the globe.

Pond’s Integrity and Compliance Management Group has successfully completed 2,000 cathodic protection and corrosion control evaluations, designs and upgrades at more than 450 DoD government facilities worldwide.
