Energy Program & Design Reviews of Systems - Nationwide
Pond provided comprehensive surveys, analysis and reports to identify conservative measures (ECM’s). We utilized DOS-2 and BLCC software to evaluate building envelope, HVAC systems, lighting, water heating, renewable and advanced energy systems including ice storage. Other initiatives included mechanical and electrical design reviews of both new construction and major renovations with emphasis on life cycle costs. Energy surveys included:
- Monrovia, Liberia
– 29 Buildings (133,100 SF)
– $356,000/year savings
- Stockholm, Sweden
– 59 Buildings (125,900 SF)
– $53,000/year savings
- Santiago, Chile
– 67 Buildings (155,321 SF)
– $91,000/year savings
- Montevideo, Uruguay
– 32 Buildings (184,466 SF)
– $78,000/year savings
Pond provided technical review of mechanical and electrical design with a focus on maintenance and life-cycle costs.
