Lab Renovation, New Storage Building and Greenhouse - Stoneville, MS
As part of a IDIQ contract, Pond provided full A/E design services for an existing lab renovation, a new storage building and new greenhouse at the southern Research Station in Stoneville. The exiting 17,000sf lab required new electrical wiring as well as upgrades thoroughout. The facility stayed open during construction so phasing had to be considered to minimize disruption to the staff. In addition, Pond provided full A/E services for a new 5,000sf, 12 bay storage unit. The third component of this project was the development of a Design-Build RFP for a new 2,000sf Isolation Greenhouse. Pond also developed the plans and specifications for this project.
