JACKSONVILLE, FL – (Feb. 27, 2024) – Pond, an industry leader in architecture, engineering, planning and construction management services, is expanding the architectural practice in the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida office with the addition of Eric West, AIA and Andres Santandreu, AIA.

West joins the firm as a senior project manager with more than 25 years of experience. In this role, he will oversee the design process and manage project schedules and budgets. West leverages design to build stronger communities, serving as a lead mentor with the ACE Mentor Program and as former president of AIA Minnesota. He earned a master’s in architecture from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s in economics and math from the University of Minnesota at Madison.

Santandreu brings more than seven years of experience as an architect across various markets and scales. His work experience ranges from small improvements at local schools to higher-education buildings, mixed-use projects including parking garages, corporate office buildings, cruise terminals, and large-scale industrial and manufacturing facilities. Santandreu has been a mentor-volunteer with ACE of Northeast Florida and Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and currently serves as treasurer for AIA Jacksonville. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo and will be pursuing his MBA at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business this summer.
