ATLANTA – (03.08.2021) – The Pond-CDM Smith Joint Venture LP (Pond-CDM Smith) has been awarded the AE Next Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC).

“The Pond-CDM Smith team has an over 40-year history of supporting the design needs of our Air Force and Department of Defense clients, and our deep bench of architects and engineers have an in-depth understanding of the Air Force mission,” said Chris Farnie, PE, LEED AP, Lead Program Manager.

The 10-year, $2 billion contract allows our team to continue our long tradition of providing outstanding design services to our United States Air Force and United States Space Force clients worldwide.

“As a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel, this contract allows me to continue to support the Air Force with mission-ready, resilient and sustainable facilities and infrastructure design services,” said Gary Dorman, Air Force Client Account Manager. “We’re excited to have the chance to continue to work with the AFCEC team.”

Project types include planning, design and construction services for MILCON and sustainment, restoration and modernization of new facilities, facility renovations as well as utilities and infrastructure.
