JACKSONVILLE, FL – (October 23, 2023) — Pond and joint-venture (JV) partner, Oneida Engineering Solutions (OES) announced today the award of a contract to provide the Program Integration Office (PIO) for the Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD 45) and oversite of the eventual construction of the Spaceport of the Future.
Working closely with the United States Space Force (USSF), this project supports The Advancement of the Next-Generation Operational Spaceports (THANOS). The USSF aims to increase space launch tempo, modernize facilities and operations, and integrate commercial launch organizations at spaceports. The program includes Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Kennedy Space Center, and Patrick Space Force Base.
