Construction Admin Emergency Fuel Shut Off System Upgrade
Pond is providing professional services for the new Emergency Fuel Shut-Off (EFSO) System Upgrade at Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport (DFW). Pond has developed design documents to date that are approximately 65% complete. Allied Aviation has secured the services of a technical client representative to review the design drawings. Comments have been received and are in the process of being implemented along with the completion of the design that includes specifications.
The major categories of the EFSO upgrade are as follows: Install nine new Notifier 640 panels and modify eight existing Notifier 640 panels that reside in the passenger terminals and UPS; Reprogram the Notifier Fire Alarm system of panels; Replace the existing Notifier server and software with industrial grade server and provide latest revision Notifier software (ONYXWorks); Furnish and install primary and backup computers for new HMI software; Replace HMI software Varec Fuels Manager with Wonderware or a similar type program and integrate with the Notifier system of panels; Modify existing PLC interface to Notifier panel and program PLC for new fuel valves and integration to the Hansa leak detection system.
