ATLANTA, GA – (January 24, 2024) – Pond, an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services, has been awarded a contract supporting both the Army National Guard and Air National Guard. Pond’s scope of architecture-engineering (A-E) work includes fire suppression design services supporting all 50 states, the Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia. This Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will have a shared capacity of $150 million among awardees. The contract ordering period is January 19, 2024 through January 18, 2029.

Pond will provide a variety of professional fire protection engineering services along with the necessary supporting constituent disciplines to install new or repair existing fire suppression, detection, and protection systems to meet the needs of the National Guard. Associated projects include National Guard hangar foam fire suppression, facility fire suppression and fire alarm systems, and emergency communication center reporting for numerous building types and facilities. Pond’s A-E services may also include planning, master planning and programming support, investigative and design services, developing design documents, construction support, environmental studies, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, investigations, and surveys in support of the Air and Army National Guard Programs.
