Jeff MatzATLANTA, GA – (May 8, 2023) – Pond announced today it has promoted Mike Magahey to Senior Vice President of the firm’s Federal Vertical. Magahey’s extensive engineering management and federal sector experience are key contributors to Pond’s position as a leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management services.

Magahey joined Pond in January of 2000 as Director of Civil Engineering before transitioning to roles in project and business management. As senior vice president, he will continue providing leadership in long term strategy, financial analysis, marketing, and mentoring.

“Mike’s most valued attribute is his desire and willingness to train Pond’s leaders who are still developing.”

“Mike is a keystone in the Federal Vertical at Pond”, said Bob Ruch, executive vice president of federal programs. “His knowledge of past practices and history – when blended with his vision and understanding of where we are headed – is a powerful multiplier for our federal division and the company as a whole. Mike’s most valued attribute is his desire and willingness to train Pond’s leaders who are still developing. This is a richly deserved promotion.“

As part of Pond’s Federal Vertical, Magahey will support the firm’s work with the Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard, and Pond’s civil agency clients.
