ATLANTA, GA – (June 5, 2023) – Through a partnership with the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), and Quick Start, Pond has been awarded a contract to provide architecture and engineering services for the new TCSG-399 Quick Start Training Center located in the Savannah, Georgia region. The Center will support the training of workers for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of electric vehicles (EV).
Pond will design a new 15,000-square-foot building that will serve as an expansion of the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC) and will include additional laboratories, a high bay space and additional classrooms. The $7.6M project is expected to begin construction prior to the end of 2023.

GSFIC provides construction management on State of Georgia-funded projects for agencies and entities of the state.
TCSG oversees the technical colleges, economic and workforce development, and adult literacy programs throughout the State of Georgia.
Quick Start is a workforce training program that provides customized services to qualified new, expanding, and existing businesses within the State of Georgia.
