MARTA Station Rehabilitation & Enhancements Program, Lenox Station Renovation
The MARTA Station Rehabilitation & Enhancements Program is a three-year, on-call contract for architectural and engineering design services for a portion of their station portfolio. In early 2020, MARTA engaged Pond to assist with the Lenox Station - Rehabilitation program. Constructed in 1984, the station needs repair and maintenance as failing gutter systems and waterproofing measures rendered an already under-utilized station less so.

Pond navigated an evolving scope of work narrative to finalize a set of waterproofing and remediation documents consisting of renovations to the Skybridge, Plaza, Entry Points, Platform, and Concourse levels, the scope of work encompasses nearly the entire station. Emanating from the rehabilitation effort, Pond was engaged again to develop a conceptual design representing Good/Better/Best rehabilitation scope based on MARTA’s priority and budget.
