ATLANTA – (7.24.20) – Pond’s Transportation team is growing! Pond welcomes James McNabb, Richard Boston, and Andrew Babb to expand the reach of client service to transportation projects throughout the Southeast.

James McNabb, PE – Senior Vice President of Transportation – James McNabb, PE is an industry leader in the transportation field and has worked to deliver successful client outcomes throughout the U.S.  He has served clients at city, county and state transportation agencies as well as contractors.  His project experience ranges from small, local infrastructure improvements to large, complex interstate work.  Under his leadership, his project teams have assisted clients with projects that have won awards from American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia, American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), and Portland Cement Association (PCA).  Mr. McNabb has dedicated his career to helping his clients to enhance mobility, safety and usability. Leveraging 20+ years of industry experience, he will oversee the efforts of almost 40 transportation engineers and planners as they develop unique solutions for clients and local communities.

Richard Boston, PE –  Senior Project Manager Richard Boston, PE is a transportation engineer with over 24 years of diverse project experience spanning all phases of road and bridge construction. His dual background in public and private sectors offers Pond’s clients a broad perspective throughout the design, construction and maintenance cycle. Boston’s insight on traffic control, erosion control and utility coordination will help the team exceed client expectations.

 

Andrew Babb, PE – Project Manager – Andrew Babb, PE has returned to Pond to serve as Project Manager to strengthen client reach in the Carolinas and throughout the Southeast. Babb has contributed to the success of transportation planning efforts ranging from local intersections to regional transportation plans. He has specialized technical experience with traffic modeling software and advanced GIS techniques, providing Pond’s clients with efficient solutions to their complex problems. His leadership in the development and execution of public engagement strategies has helped communicate planning efforts to decision-makers in an accessible way. As a project manager, he will guide his team in tasks related to traffic engineering, transportation planning and city planning.
