NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – (9.24.18) – Pond, an industry leader in planning, architecture, engineering and construction services, is pleased to announce the promotion of Sam Briuglio to Senior Vice President of the Federal Program, including Federal Master Planning and Geospatial services for DoD and Non-DoD Federal clients.

In his role as Senior Vice President of the Federal Program, Briuglio will use his 19 years of experience to continue strengthening Pond’s Federal presence throughout the United States and overseas.

Moving forward, he will lead a team of planning, design and geospatial professionals at multiple locations throughout the U.S. including New Orleans, Huntsville, Colorado Springs, San Diego, Atlanta and Virginia Beach.

Briuglio’s in-depth experience in Federal facilities planning and requirements analyses, military construction project programming, training/range facilities analysis and planning, environmental planning, and GIS development allows him to develop unique, cutting-edge solutions for Pond clients.

Briuglio holds a master’s degree in Geography from the University of New Orleans and is an active member of the APA Federal Planning Division, the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) – Louisiana Post, and the Louisiana Chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (LA URISA).

In addition to his duties for Pond, he serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Planning and Urban Studies for the University of New Orleans, teaching master planning for federal facilities, site planning and advanced techniques in GIS and Cartography.
