Pond was contracted for the design, permitting, and inspection of the installation of roughly six miles of a 4-inch steel gas main and two custody transfer/purchase stations for a landfill gas project. Stations included gas chromatographs and gas analyzers, remote-operated valves, metering of renewable natural gas, and pressure regulation at the delivery to a transmission pipeline company.

Pond was the engineer of record for the alignment and facilities design. Design scope included survey, horizontal direction drilling design, pipeline design, DOT permitting, cathodic protection design, mechanical design, electrical design, site civil and energy savings performance contracting design, environmental field delineation, and permitting.
