ATLANTA- (01.11.21) – Pond, an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction, is honored to announce the addition of Alden Hathaway, PE, as Program Director of Power and Renewable Energy. His arrival brings forth Pond’s new power consulting offerings guiding clients toward responsible and sustainable energy stewardship.
Alden Hathaway is a true visionary whose work reflects his conviction that current energy technology can solve complex environmental problems while still saving money and resources. With over 39 years of experience, Hathaway has been on the precipice of some of the most influential programs in the industry. He has served in leadership roles at several renewable energy organizations including Sterling Planet, Sterling Energy Assets and Solar Light for Africa, a non-profit he cofounded that provides solar energy to Sub-Saharan Africa.
In this role, he will be a senior leader within the company and coordinate the outside sales force into strategic growth initiatives that enhance the company’s position. Hathaway will help redefine Pond’s role as a market leader in the emerging global marketing for energy and environmental products and solutions. He will also spearhead power transmission and distribution solutions for clients, which will elevate capacity for electric grid resiliency, replacement of aging infrastructure, asset hardening and more.
