David Hunter, Associate, PCS, EIT, NACE CIP LEVEL III and NACE CP2 has been promoted to Program Manager of Pond’s new Coatings Engineering Service Group. Hunter is a Coatings Subject Matter Expert (SME) for protective coatings with over 20 years of domestic and international experience in corrosion control. Hunter will build a team of corrosion professionals to support multiple industries and Pond clients in the Energy, Transportation, Infrastructure and manufacturing sectors, as well as various branches of the United States Military. Hunter was instrumental in helping Pond achieve the SSPC QP-5 Certification, a Certification for Coating and Lining Inspection Companies held by only 16 companies globally.
Anna Dis Sveinbjornsdottir, LEED AP, has been promoted to Manager of Interior Design and Procurement for Pond’s Columbia Office. Her responsibilities encompass management for interior design services for Pond’s 550-person firm with over 25 offices. With over 16 years of experience in interior design and space planning, Anna guides the interior design process for markets including hospitality, municipalities, higher ed, commercial interiors and federal. In addition to these markets, her expertise in furniture procurement allows for a single source of service for design to construction to occupancy. Anna’s years of project management for interior design ensures seamless cross coordination with Pond’s project architects and engineers.
Luke McCary, AIA, LEED AP, has been promoted to Director of Architecture for Pond’s Columbia Office. McCary has over 15 years of diverse architectural experience, including corporate, municipal and local government with a specialty in education design. He has managed almost 2 million in education projects, with a focus on complex, phased renovation and addition projects. McCary has been involved in all aspects of design, project management and corporate leadership. He is highly skilled in team leadership, REVIT and specification writing enabling him to coordinate multiple disciplines into clear and concise project delivery. His clients value his collaborative approach to project delivery and exceptional client service.
Brian Lunsford, PE has been promoted to Program Director of Asset Integrity. Lunsford has over 18 years of experience with Mechanical Integrity Engineering and Nondestructive Testing (NDT). He holds API 510, 570, 577, 580, and 653 certifications, as well as AWS Senior Certified Welding and STI SP001 inspection certifications. Lunsford also holds an ASNT Level III and numerous ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II method certifications in NDT. As Asset Integrity Program Director, he actively manages the Mechanical Integrity, Corrosion Control, Coating Services, and Pipeline Survey groups ensuring that our engineers and technicians provide clients with a high level of expertise and cost-effective solutions for asset management.
Ken Fudala has been promoted to Program Manager of the Maintenance Program. Fudala has over 20 years of Energy experience with a balanced background in all aspects of oil and gas, renewable fuels and transportation services including barge, pipeline, rail and truck. He is knowledgeable in storage, operations, logistics, commercial negotiations and operations management. As program manager, Fudala oversees the management and direction of the Defense Logistics Agency/Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Fuels Maintenance and Repair Division.
