ATLANTA – (02.25.18) Pond has been named Engineering Employer of the Year by the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE) for an unprecedented third year in a row!

Dedication to community, care for our clients, and commitment to professional growth are just a few of the hallmarks that earned Pond this prestigious accolade.

Pond Senior Vice President Ron Osterloh accepted the Engineering Employer of the Year Award during the 2019 Georgia Engineering Awards, hosted by ACEC Georgia.

“We’re honored to be recognized for our company-wide commitment of providing engineers opportunities to grow their skills and build their careers,” said Osterloh.

A contributing factor to being recognized as Employer of the Year is Pond’s culture of professional growth of our engineering team through internal mentorship, leadership forums and Pond University. Externally we actively support programs like the ACEC Georgia’s Future Leaders Program by providing talented engineers as students and company veterans as educators.

“We are proud of our educational programs, and on-site tools that nurture our engineering and design professionals. We are also equally proud of the growth at Pond – growth that offers opportunities for many to put their leadership and team-building skills to use in creating sensible solutions and providing excellence in care for our clients,” said the VP of Marketing & Communications.

Since its inception in 1965, Pond has grown into a thriving firm with 24 offices around the world. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Pond was named ENR’s 2018 Southeast Design Firm of the Year, and is a technology-driven full-service engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management firm providing design solutions to government and private clients worldwide.
