Pond is pleased to announce the hiring of John Lathram as program manager for the Oil and Gas division’s fuel construction sector. Based at Pond’s corporate office, he brings with him more than 30 years of exceptional experience in environmental remediation, fuel system inspection and repair, and general construction management for clients in both government and private sectors.

“We are very excited to welcome John Lathram to Pond,” said Senior Vice President of Constructors Tim Crosby. “As a seasoned veteran in the fuels community, John brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Pond, and will surely enhance the services we offer to our clients.”

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Samford University and serving as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, Lathram seamlessly integrated his military experience as senior project scientist for Roy F. Weston, Inc.

As Senior Project Manager, Lathram supervised and managed more than $60 million in construction projects within the U.S. and Europe, including environmental remediation, fuel system inspection and repair, and general construction projects for private and federal government clients such as Department of Defense and the Environmental Protection Agency. Promoted to principal project manager, Lathram supervised personnel and budgets of more than $15 million on projects such as fuel system repairs at Naval Station Mayport, along with various tank repairs and replacement projects at military bases across the U.S.

“My experience with management for both government and private sector fuel system repair projects, along with managing multi-million-dollar budgets, gives me the tools I need to continue the tradition of excellence here at Pond.” said Latham. “I look forward to working with such a great company, whose business integrity and commitment to the client mirrors my own.”

Lathram is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified Aboveground Tank Inspector by the American Petroleum Institute (API).
