These individuals are leaders in their industries and within their communities, and embody Pond’s dedication to providing clients with exceptional customer service and innovative solutions.

Rodney Hoke, Director of Engineering – Energy Division

Rodney Hoke, PE is the Director of Engineering for Pond’s Energy Division. Hoke joined Pond as an Associate in 2016 and brings over 30 years of experience in the planning, engineering design and construction of petroleum terminals, airport fueling facilities and pipelines. He manages the engineering production staff and leads the quality control program for Pond’s Energy Division and ensures all client deliverables meet Pond’s strict quality guidelines. Prior to joining Pond, Hoke managed engineering departments for Kinder Morgan Products Pipeline Division and URS Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University.

Sasan Hosein, Asset Integrity Technical Director

Asset Integrity Technical Director Sasan Hosein has been involved in the corrosion control industry for more than 20 years. He has a Master of Science in Corrosion Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. Hosein is a NACE certified Cathodic Protection Specialist, Corrosion Specialist and SSPC certified Protective Coating Specialist. He is highly qualified to perform technical services associated with the design, installation, testing, data analysis, integrity management, and correlation analysis of all types of Cathodic Protection, AC Mitigation, and Protective Coating systems. Hosein’s experience in establishing specifications, supervising, and installing many and various types of passive and impressed current cathodic protection allows him to ensure the Pond team continues to deliver consistent, quality service for Pond’s Energy clients.

David Hunter, Program Manager – Coatings Engineering Service Group

David Hunter, PCS, NACE CIP LEVEL III and NACE CP2 is the Program Manager of Pond’s Coatings Engineering Service group. Hunter is a Coatings Subject Matter Expert (SME) for protective coatings with over 20 years of domestic and international experience in corrosion control. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. Currently, Hunter supports multiple industries and Pond clients in the energy, transportation, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors, as well as various branches of the United States Military. Hunter was instrumental in helping Pond achieve the SSPC QP-5 Certification, a certification for coating and lining inspections held by only 14 companies globally.

Matthew Wilder, Director of Landscape Architecture & Urban Design

Matthew Wilder, PLA, ASLA is the Director of Pond’s Landscape Architecture and Urban Design studio. Wilder earned his Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia, including a graduate focus in Historic Preservation. With 20 years of experience, Wilder designs parks, trails, public spaces, and influences bike-mobility choices in the many cities and counties throughout the Metro-Atlanta region. Currently Wilder is leading the design of the newest Atlanta BeltLine Park and the first phase of the AlphaLoop linear park and trail in Alpharetta. He is also leading the design of three neighborhood parks in Johns Creek and trails in Sandy Springs, Athens and Atlanta, as well as many other recreation and public space projects. Wilder is committed to creating places that enhance the wellbeing of people and engage them in memorable ways.
