Mark Hanselman, Director of Structural Engineering, Peachtree Corners, GA

As Director of Structural Engineering, Mark Hanselman, PE, SE works to ensure client satisfaction on projects that have included designs for the military, higher education institutions, aviation, hospitals, and departments of transportation. Hanselman has ten years of experience with many types of structural projects, including the design of new buildings and facilities and the design of structural modifications. Hanselman was instrumental in the collaborative design of Georgia’s new Hall County Campus for Lanier Technical College, an award-winning campus that will help boost the economy of the region for years to come. Hanselman has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Sothern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Pam Little, Senior Project Manager – Defense, Peachtree Corners, GA

Senior Project Manager Pam Little, PE, LEED AP has over 20 years of diverse project experience and has a proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships. She serves as a senior project manager for Pond’s Defense group and is an award-winning leader in the engineering, architecture and construction community. Little’s experience ranges from designing and permitting to serving as an owner’s representative. Little has focused her career on making an impact on both the professional world and her community and she has been deeply involved in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Women in Transportation Seminars, and the Green Chamber of the South. Little has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Joe Stitt, Electrical Engineering – Building Systems Discipline Director, Peachtree Corners, GA

Electrical Engineering – Building Systems Discipline Director, Joe Stitt, PE, LEED AP has 13 years of experience in the MEP industry in Ohio and Georgia. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and joined Pond in 2011, where he has been the lead electrical engineer for clients such as the Air National Guard, FAA, USACE, NAVFAC, JTA and Lanier Technical College. Stitt manages the day-to-day operations of the department, assigns electrical engineers to projects, prepares fee proposals, performs technical quality control reviews and constructability reviews on projects, and is a mentor to junior engineers. Stitt recently led the effort to complete the new Jacksonville Transit Authority Administration building in Jacksonville, Florida.

Andrew Swift, Community Development Discipline Director, Peachtree Corners, GA

Andrew Swift, PE has over 14 years of civil engineering experience and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004. He currently serves as the Community Development Civil Discipline Director, which includes the management of the civil engineering staff and oversight of the civil engineering projects. Swift also currently manages a new wide-span hangar project in Maryland and a mixed-use park and ride facility in College Park, Georgia. Swift has engineering design and construction experience in many areas, including commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and military developments, as well as experience in project management, client management, and permit coordination with local, state, and federal agencies. 

Hugh Weaver, Vice President of Aviation, Peachtree Corners, GA

Vice President of Aviation, Hugh Weaver, PE, LEED AP has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace/aviation industry, and has been involved in the planning, strategic development and capital growth improvement programs for dozens of airports across the nation and around the world. His expertise extends to all facets of the engineering design experience. His depth and breadth of experience has ensured Pond’s expansion into airport design and installation services nationally and internationally. Weaver has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University.
