Marcus Anderson, PE – Senior Project Manager
Marcus Anderson has 10+ years of experience providing electrical engineering services to fueling and aviation projects. His specialization in fueling projects on military airfields allows Pond to offer unique expertise to federal and Defense clients. Anderson serves his clients through overseeing designs, installations and startups of new systems.
Dan Brown, PE, ASTI – Senior Project Manager
Dan Brown leads teams in Pond’s Energy division in the production of superior project deliverables. Brown’s 10+ years of experience in project planning, development and deficiency evaluations has refined his skills in executing government and commercial projects.
Tabatha Carlton, PE – Discipline Director, Tampa
With over 25 years of experience in transportation, drainage design and land development, Tabatha Carlton’s innovative designs have served commercial and municipal clients. She serves Pond’s transportation team by fostering strong client relationships. Carlton manages technical oversight, production coordination, and employee development in the Tampa office.
Bill Carpenter, PE – Discipline Director
Discipline Director Bill Carpenter has managed construction and engineering projects for over 28 years. His broad understanding of fueling systems and all related engineering disciplines is integral to developing client-centered solutions. He has managed the electrical designs and upgrades on projects at many of the nation’s largest commercial airports and military airfields.
Jim Davis – Corporate Health and Safety Director
Jim Davis has over 30 years of professional safety leadership experience. He has developed, implemented and managed complex Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, policies, and procedures for internal and external clients worldwide. Pond’s safety program has been commended by the Alabama Department of Labor, South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, Associated General Contractors of America, and the Lone Star Safety Program.
Doug Hannah, AIA, LEED AP BD+C – Senior Project Manager
Doug Hannah, a registered architect, has over 14 years of experience in collegiate master planning, mixed-use master planning, educational facilities, local government facilities, and commercial offices building shells and interiors.
Mark Hanselman, PE, SE – Director of Structural Engineering
With over 11 years of industry experience, Mark Hanselman is well-versed in a variety of structural projects. He has designed new buildings and facilities for defense, industrial, aviation and commercial clients. Hanselman’s work consistently demonstrates Pond’s commitment to prioritizing client satisfaction.
Kevin Hendrix, PE, LEED AP – Discipline Director
Kevin Hendrix has extensive experience in the civil site design of projects through the southeastern United States. He specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, initial site layout, grading and erosion control design, plan and report production, and project coordination.
Tim Lee, PE – Senior Electrical Engineer
Tim Lee has over 25 years of electrical engineering experience. Lee specializes in lighting systems, power distribution, alarm systems, UPS systems, generators, and airfield lighting and signage, with exceptional skills in coordinating electrical components with multi-discipline operations.
Pam Little, PE, LEED AP – Program Manager
Pam Little focuses her 20 years of experience towards projects and clients in Pond’s Defense program. In addition to her extensive technical abilities She has made an impact on the professional world with her involvement in Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Women in Transportation Seminars, and the Green Chamber of the South.
Eric Lusher, AICP – Director of Planning
Eric Lusher has over 15 years serving a variety of different clients including Departments of Transportation, Toll Authorities, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Transit Agencies, municipal governments, CIDs, and private developers. Lusher specializes in transportation analysis, comprehensive planning and corridor studies.
Van Lynn, PE, QCxP, LEED AP BD+C – Director of Mechanical Engineering, Savannah
Van Lynn as over 18 years of experience in commissioning, mechanical and plumbing engineering design for new facilities and renovations in many areas that include office, retail, commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional. Lynn has comprehensive experience in sustainable and LEED design, as well as energy conservation practices and analysis. He lends his expertise to Pond’s Savannah office, where he provides personal, timely attention to clients.
Jorge Mendez, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB – Discipline Director
Jorge Mendez has 23 years of experience in architectural design for various types of facilities. As a Project Architect, he is especially skilled at leading the design development and construction documents phases. His skills include planning, programming, architectural design, energy efficient green architecture, specifications, construction cost estimation, construction contract administration, and construction observation, and existing facility assessments.
Julian Ramirez – Director of Pre-Construction Services
Julian Ramirez is an estimating and project controls professional, dedicated to contributing dynamic engineering and research skills. His expertise in construction management, estimating and project controls, and field engineering make him a strategic asset to the firm. Notable projects he has led include the Samsung Warehouse Expansion project, City of Norcross’ Pinnacle Park and the design and construction of a new City of Marietta Fire Station #56.
Joe Stitt, PE – Discipline Director of Electrical Engineering – Building Systems
Joe Stitt manages the operations of Pond’s Electrical Engineering department, as well as performing technical quality control reviews and constructability reviews on projects and is a mentor to junior engineers.
Jim Turner – Project Manager
Jim Turner has over 10 years’ experience working predominately with airfields including runways, taxiways and aprons; site design for air traffic control towers; and transportation design for roadway interfaces. His airfield design expertise includes asphalt and concrete runways, ramps and taxiways, runway resurfacing, geometry, grading and drainage. He has extensive design and engineering experience at both general aviation and commercial airports, including runway, taxiway and apron projects along with associated hydraulic improvements.
Kenn Ussery, PE – Discipline Director – Fueling Civil
Kenn Ussery has over 28 years of civil and architectural engineering design and construction experience in many areas that include Department of Defense, commercial, industrial and institutional, and office and retail developments. Ussery specializes in the infrastructure design work for the oil and gas industry, working with commercial and government clients.
