COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Operations Update

March 18, 2020

Dear Clients, Partners and Friends:

As we continue to navigate this unprecedented situation, it’s important that each of you know the well-being of our employees and those we serve is always our top priority. It’s our belief that safeguarding people’s health and maintaining a seamless level of service are not mutually exclusive. This message is to update you on the measures we are taking related to COVID-19.

Currently, all Pond offices are open and fully functional. We have established a Business Continuity Task Force – comprised of executives from all areas of the firm – which is meeting daily, at minimum, to evaluate latest developments and adjust our strategies as needed. Let me assure you that Pond is well-positioned to maintain our service levels as needed through any sustained downturn that may lie ahead.

We’re adhering to local and national public health guidelines and have temporarily restricted all business air travel to minimize the exposure of our teams. You may receive requests to hold project meetings virtually versus in-person; project managers will actively communicate with you regarding project status and deliverables. Our IT systems have been upgraded and tested in order to allow employees to work remotely. We are confident that the measures we have taken will ensure minimal disruption if we are to close any offices.

Managers are communicating regularly and directly with staff regarding each of their individual circumstances. We are requiring anyone who has been exposed to or is showing symptoms of COVID-19 (or any illness) to self-quarantine at home and consult a health care professional before returning to the office or visiting any client location.

Thank you for the continued trust you have placed in Pond. As we move forward through this trying time, we promise to be diligent and responsive to our clients’ needs while also keeping our employees and their families safe and healthy.

We are grateful for your support and understanding.
