Cassie BeckwithSAVANNAH, GA – (September 13, 2023) – Pond today announced that Cassie Beckwith, RA, NCARB, LEED AP, has joined the firm as Senior Architect and Architecture Practice Lead for the firm’s Savannah, Georgia office. Beckwith will be responsible for managing the architecture team and projects within Savannah and surrounding areas, interfacing with clients, and coordinating with design and construction teams.

Beckwith has nearly 20 years of experience in the Savannah architecture community where she has held roles ranging from project manager, architecture leader, business development, and marketing and communications. She has served as project manager and lead designer on several recent projects in metro-Savannah, including public safety, recreation, and elementary education facilities.

Beckwith has been highly active in the community, most notably through her work with Urban Hope where she has served on the board since 2009 and been instrumental in creating the organization’s two annual fundraising events, the “Pee Wee Rodeo” and “Chefs and Chocolates”. She has been recognized for her community involvement by being named the “Education and Youth Development Volunteer of the Year” by the United Way of the Coastal Empire in 2018, and a “Rising Star in Business” by “Savannah Magazine” and “The Savannah Morning News” in 2015.

Beckwith is a registered architect and holds a certificate with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas State University and a Master of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
