ATLANTA, Georgia – (10.22.18) – Pond, an industry leader in engineering, planning, architecture, and construction services, is pleased to announce the addition of Senior Project Manager Andrew Kohr.
Kohr will be based out of Pond’s downtown Atlanta office and strengthen our Landscape Architecture team’s dedication to providing specialized design and planning expertise to our local clients.
With a Master of Landscape Architecture, Kohr brings over 13 years of experience working with municipal projects and a strong understanding of managing linear projects in both urban and suburban settings. Kohr has a passion for creating great public spaces which connect communities and bring people together.
“The addition of Andrew to the Community Development team at Pond broadens our capabilities and reach even further to better serve our clients,” said Director of Landscape Architecture Matt Wilder. “Andrew’s experience as a landscape architect, preservationist, and urban designer will be integral to the extension of our services in Atlanta.”
Kohr has experience as a project manager, design lead and planner for a variety of award-winning projects that include trail master plans, bicycle and pedestrian trail connectivity, cultural landscape preservation, greenways, public garden design, streetscape improvements and wayfinding signage. One of Kohr’s most recent projects, the Lenox Road Scoping Study and Vision Plan, won a 2018 Georgia Planning Association Award for Outstanding Planning Document.
Kohr is a registered Landscape Architect in Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and Atlanta Urban Design Commission. He also currently serves on the Board for the Cherokee Garden Library (Atlanta, GA) and the Advisory Council for Hills and Dales Estate (LaGrange, GA).
