Hydrant Fueling System & Apron Expansion - McChord Field, WA

Pond provided comprehensive architecture and engineering services to complete a new Type III Hydrant system which included upgrade of existing system for expansion of C-17 ramp and parking apron. Design included aboveground storage tanks, pumps, manual and automated control valves, filter separators, pumphouse and controls, generator building, fuel pits, fill stand, Petroleum, Oil & Lubricant (POL) facility, related site utilities, site planning, aircraft parking apron and demolition of existing system. Design complied with all applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial petroleum standards and environmental statutes.
