4 | Pond & Company I n November, Pond Constructors Inc. was awarded a Fuel Systems Maintenance Services DLA Energy Fuel Facilities contract from the Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District in Wiesbaden Germany. The scope of the Multiple Award Task Order Contract is comprised of providing recurring maintenance, inspection, CMP and repair expertise throughout United States European Command (EUCOM) in support of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) capitalized fuels facilities. Pond Constructors has an exceptional performance record when it comes to providing recurring maintenance, inspections and repairs both CONUS and OCONUS. The Pond team currently performs maintenance and repair at Air Force, Army and Navy installations worldwide, all with high levels of technical expertise and safety. Key Pond personnel responsible for the fulfillment of the contract are Mike Jeffreys, PMP, Program Manager, who with 27+ years of experience in the POL facility industry and the DoD Fueling community, will provide oversight; Gary Leach, Project Manager, will ensure quality, timeliness, and expectations are adhered to on every Service Order programmed; W. Dennis Hanson, Team Leader, has over 20 years of professional experience in the European area of operations leading multiple projects at Rota and Moran AB. Hanson along with Maria Burkett, Project Coordinator, will be Pond’s boots on the ground, Burkett providing in country project coordination and support. “This is an exciting, fast growing sustainable program and another leg in the maintenance stool. We have a BOA contract with USACE Huntsville Center of Excellence with multiple task order awards totaling 140 locations that span the PACRIM, CONUS and the European theater and this contract adds to that robust maintenance program.” - Michael Jeffreys, Pond Constructors, Inc., Program Manager.
