ATLANTA – (11.15.2019) – Pond, and industry leader in engineering, planning, architecture, and construction services, is pleased to announce the addition of Senior Scientist Will Pruitt.
Pruitt strengthens Pond’s Environmental Services team by providing expertise regarding aquatic resources and general environmental consulting services. Pruitt specializes in aquatic resources, with a focus on aquatic protected species and biological monitoring. He has designed, developed, and conducted biological surveys large-scale, long-term, and complex projects, such as watershed management/ protection plans, stream restoration sites, energy and infrastructure projects (petroleum, natural gas, electrical, nuclear, and hydropower), FERC re-licensing projects, dam removal studies, proposed nuclear sites, transportation projects, as well as commercial and residential development sites.

Pruitt received his Master of Science degree in Forest Resources (fisheries) from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in Wildlife and Fisheries Science with a minor of Forestry. He is a Certified Ecologist through the Ecological Society of America (ESA) and is currently authorized to collect various state-protected fish, mollusks, mammal, and herptile species as well as federally listed fish and freshwater mussel species in Georgia, which expands the environmental services Pond can provide to clients.
