Trails & Greenways
Pond’s environmentally sensitive approach integrates people, technology, and ecologic systems to create greenways and trail projects that are beneficial for the users and aesthetically pleasing.
Our team of professionals has master planned, designed and implemented more than 400 miles of greenway and multi-use trail projects. This experience ranges from county-wide greenway master plan updates and city-wide greenway connectivity plans to the planning and layout of natural foot trails for state parks.
Trail connectivity is often used as a method of tying neighborhoods together and providing off-street access to parks, greenways, schools, or a more regional system. Community support is essential in developing these successful and fully used amenities. We are adept at educating and engaging the local community for greenway and trail projects.
