SMITH, JR. CPC Sam Smith serves as ProgramManager for Pond’s general construction program, and has more than 33 years of experience in the construction industry specializing in developing and maintaining seamless communication between owners, architects and the construction team to ensure total team collaborations. Sam has grown his career from a carpenter to programmanager, with stints in between as a carpentry foreman, assistant superintendent, superintendent, assistant PM, project manager, construction cost estimator and senior project manager. ANNA DIS SVEINBJORNSDOTTIR, LEED AP ID+C As Pond’s lead interior designer, Anna has over 14 years of experience in providing clients with comprehensive interior design services, ranging from selection of finishes and furnishings to implementation of turnkey interior packages. She is particularly creative in the use of innovative materials and features to maximize budget while increasing visual and spatial impact. Her understanding of the integration of technology and social spaces within the built environment make her adept in creating engaging and memorable spaces. MARK KREITZ, LEED AP O+M, AICP Mark has 12 years of planning and engineering design experience, of which the last five years he has focused on economic development, community planning, land use planning and urban design. His experience includes development of professional recommendations and design alternatives, public outreach and consensus building, and data analysis. STEVE MOES Steve has over 35 years of professional experience in civil engineer programs, construction, infrastructure operations and maintenance, contract and capital improvement program management. He directed the civil engineer and architectural support for Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts for the United States Coast Guard, was the program manager for an Air Force energy security assessment, conducting critical analysis of installation resource security. ALEX HOLBROOK, PE, LEED AP Alex is Pond’s Building Systems Program Director at Pond. As a LEED Accredited professional, he brings 28 years of diverse experience with the design and construction of many facility types. His knowledge in designing, studying and troubleshooting complex electrical, mechanical, structural and fire protection systems has been utilized in numerous federal, institutional and industrial facility projects. CHRIS BUTTS, PE, SET, CFPS Chris is Pond’s Director of Fire Protection Services, with over 35 years of continuous and progressive experience in the fire protection industry both domestically and internationally. He currently serves as an elected Director on SFPE National’s Foundations Board of Governors, SFPE National’s 2017 Nominating Committee as appointed by the Board of Directors, and serves on the conference committee as appointed by the SFPE Greater Atlanta chapter’s committee chair.
