10 Pond | Pondco.com In The Community The Pond team works hard to keep our community safe and beautiful for residents and visitors through the Gwinnett Adopt-a-Road litter prevention initiative. Pond participated in the Quick ‘n’ Dirty Boat Building Contest during the Wooden Boat Festival , a fundraiser of the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum in Madisonville, LA. Pond brought home the 2018 Championship from the Chattahoochee Nature Center’s 5th Annual Corporate Eco Challenge . Pond hit the pavement during the Atlanta Mayors 5K on the Runway at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Interns enjoy the Partnership Gwinnett After 5 Gwinnett intern networking event in downtown Lawrenceville, GA. The Pond team was proud to join other volunteers during a recent build day with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. Cobb County Fire Station 18 Officials join the community and station firefighters in a ceremonial “uncoupling of the hose” at the new fire station in Acworth, GA. Pond’s joined other engineering professionals to build a miniature golf course out of non-perishable food items during the “Build Putt Give” Competition. Pond was honored to sponsor and participate in the 2nd annual Miles 4 Meier 5K race at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Jennifer Naizer and Paola Iborra direct race participants. Transportation experts Arwin Lopez, Yolande Stover, Peter Hortman, and Julian Lizarazo-Segura had a blast during the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Georgia Chapter 2018 Bowling Tournament. Tony Parker, Jeff Meier, Bob Williams, Kevin Hendrix, Rebeca Thompson and Arlenys Castillo were honored to be in attendance at the No Longer Bound banquet fundraiser. Pond congratulates Lane Gortemoller , Joe Brejda , Jennifer Naizer and James Schoen for being selected into the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia (ACECGA) 2018-2019 Future Leaders Program! Pond’s Pam Little and Chris Jenkins are members of the inaugural class for the new Engineering Leadership Academy (ELA) with ACECGA.
