Lang Carson Park Pittman Park Within the City of Atlanta, renovations to two existing parks are being designed by Pond’s Landscape Architecture studio. Lang Carson Park At Lang Carson Park we are removing an ADA switchback ramp that divides portions of the park, and replacing it with a barrier free path and integrated play space. The universal design integrates all of the park elements and ability to freely access to the park should not even cross the visitor’s mind. We developed a 3D fly-thru explaining the changes and it aided with fundraising. Pittman Park A 1960’s modern architectural playground space will be reinvented as an activity and fitness zone with new exercise equipment and communal gathering space - preserving a piece of the past while reinventing for modern needs. Pond produced a 3D rendering to assist in garnering support and fundraising efforts from department leadership, the National Recreation & Park Association, and Coca-Cola.
