Highlighter Summer 2015

Summer 2015 | 7 National Guard Bureau (NGB) Although Pond & Company was awarded a Nationwide Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for Architect-Engineering Services by the National Guard Bureau a year ago, the contract has now been signed and we are once again rolling on the task orders. Winning the NGB contract is a great example of leadership and excellent client service. Pond has been serving the National Guard for more than 20 years. Many Pond professionals have worked on NGB projects, with these projects playing a large part in building successful careers. For example, Tony Parker was one of the original civil engineers assigned to NGB work. This companywide dedication was a major “win theme” for our presentation. Client service and longevity are the results of excellent leadership. From the early NGB days of working project by project, making strategic decisions to team with other companies and building our credibility, to now where Pond stands alone as the prime firm, winning projects from other companies many times larger than we are. The contract period is a 2-year base period and three one-year options, valued at $45 million over the entire 5-year period.
