Webb Bridge Road - Alpharetta, GA
This project consisted of identifying potential traffic calming and operational modifications to slow traffic, enhance safety, and improve ingress/egress to the residential neighborhoods, schools, and parks along Webb Bridge Road. As part of this project Pond developed recommendations along the Webb Bridge Road Corridor including roundabouts, median islands, turn lanes modifications, and signal phasing modifications. Additionally, rendered drawings were prepared for a public meeting held by the City of Alpharetta, which showed 4 unique complete streets options that could be implemented along the corridor and safely connect the surrounding neighborhoods to the Big Creek Greenway. Additionally, Pond developed conceptual layouts for this public meeting showing the feasibility of roundabouts at the intersections of Webb Bridge Road at Webb Bridge Way and Webb Bridge Road at Lake Windward Drive.
