US Army Fueling Maintenance & Repair Program
Pond’s responsibility to our 55 Army sites is primarily to ensure the estimated 700,000 active duty and reserve soldiers are capable of fulfilling their real-world and war-time contingency missions. Collectively, our subcontractors and self-performing teams perform over 200 detailed inspections annually of fuel systems ranging in size from a single dispenser attached to a small fuel tank supporting ground equipment such as Tanks are Personnel Carriers, to larger airfield fueling systems servicing military aircraft and attack helicopters. Annually, Pond also completes hundreds of minor repairs under the DLA-Energy Program that are crucial to keeping the very old and antiquated to the newly installed systems operational. Pond’s Army support presence around the world covers 20 states and 3 different countries outside the United States. We extend from Bangor, Maine to Soto Cano, Honduras and from Fairbanks, Alaska to Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands.
