Unicoi Bottoms Road Culvert Replacement at Smith Creek - Unicoi State Park, Helen, GA | Georgia Department of Natural Resources

Pond has an on-call services contract with the GADNR to perform rehabilitation services for their Category I and II Dams along with other infrastructure needs within the state parks. The culvert on Unicoi Bottoms Road, just south of the Unicoi State Park Inn, washed out from the excessive rainfall events of May 2018. This impeded access to the lodge and facilities from the south side of the park.

Structure Replacement: Reinforced Concrete Slab Top Bridge, 30-ft span, resting on socketed pile footings.

Services:
Provided survey for the project area; Hydrologic and Hydraulic Assessment to size different structures for cost and efficiency for type and geometry structure selection; construction documents; and construction oversight.
