SR 306 Safety Improvements - Forsyth County, GA

Pond provided design services for the road widening, addition of traffic signals, and other safety design improvements on State Route (SR) 306 (Keith Bridge Road) at Waldrip Road, Parks Road, Shadburn Road, and SR 53 (Dawson Highway) for this federally-funded project.

The improvements at these three major State Route intersections provide immediate safety enhancements within the context of the proposed future widening of SR 306. The scope consisted of construction plan sheets, profiles, cross-sections, driveway profiles, drainage maps and profiles, maintenance of traffic, erosion control, and right-of-way plans. The project included public hearings, extensive coordination with adjoining property owners as well as coordination and review by Georgia Department of Transportation district office.

  • 330+ Drawings.
  • Traffic 18,100 ADT.
  • 3 Major Intersections.
  • Realignment in difficult terrain.
  • Maintenance of traffic during construction.
