Senior Service Center - Gwinnett County, GA

Pond provided design services for Phase I of Gwinnett County’s Senior Service Center, an approximately 8,000 square foot building, to serve as a central administrative and service center for the County’s Homemaker Assistance, Senior Counseling and Meals on Wheels program. Also included was the schematic design for an additional 12,000 square feet to include a commercial kitchen, food storage, as well as delivery preparation and coordination areas. The facility was certified LEED® Silver with special consideration given to sustainable design, reduced energy consumption, and improved quality of life for the building occupants.
