Red Horse Readiness Center - Charleston Air Force Base, SC

Pond provided comprehensive A/E services for this 33,186 sf facility. It provides operations and training functions for the RED HORSE Squadron at Joint Base Charleston. The facility includes classrooms, administrative space, mobility equipment storage, skills training labs, and Computer Based Training. The readiness center provides centralized access to all required training equipment and is collocated with Active Duty Civil Engineering Squadron in order to maximize cooperative training opportunities. The new building is designed to comply with the base architectural compatibility plan.

The project was designed and constructed in accordance with current AT/FP standards and designed to receive a LEED® Silver Certification.
