Penney Retirement Community, a Continuing Care Retirement Community, located in Penney Farms, Florida has commissioned Pond to design their new 50 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility to replace its +20-year-old existing facility. The new facility consists of 38 Private Elder rooms and 12 Private Elder Suites with a Jack and Jill style large share restroom. 26 of the rooms a designed to provide Medical Gas and accommodate more complex medical care. The Facility also has its own large commercial kitchen, elegant dining room, activity room overlooking mature growth oaks and a large reflecting pond, a community chapel, nursing stations, med prep rooms, in house laundry facilities and associated additional sitting areas, dens, staff and support areas.
