Norcross Livable Centers Initiative - Norcross, GA

Pond recently helped the City of Norcross create a complete update of its Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) plan for historic downtown Norcross and create better linkages to the Buford Highway area. Through active engagement with the business community, investors, and property owners, the Pond team prepared a plan that poised the city to pursue seven catalytic projects. The projects feature corridor improvements, parking improvements, and active living components that will attract new investors and residents while making more beautiful public spaces.

The final product is based on market realities and includes a five year act on plan for promoting housing options, improving connections, increasing economic viability, and facilitating coordination among key partners. Pond relied on its network of private sector experts for strategic advising regarding the real estate drivers necessary to make the community vision a built reality. As the city manages its success as a desired destination, leadership relies upon Pond for balancing programmatic needs for parking, connectivity, and the quality of life the Norcross community expects.
