Marine Loading Arm (MLA) Program

Pond is responsible for maintaining approximately 100 Marine Loading Arms (MLA) at 23 sites around the globe. In coordination with our in-house maintenance and repair team and network of teaming partners, Pond conducts over 60 recurring maintenance events per year. These efforts support Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps locations both CONUS and OCONUS, ensuring fuel movement missions are maintained for both barge and ship operations. Our current network of technicians and subcontractors allow Pond to respond to minor and major repairs quickly and efficiently. Pond’s MLA reach stretches from Japan and Guam to Spain along with 7 states in the Continental US. From a simple hydraulic hose replacement to complete overhauls, the team keeps the barge and ship fuel loading and off-loading operations moving for the DoD and DLA-Energy.
